Terms and Conditions

By submitting a request for a search or service, you are stating that you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Intended Use of Information:

1) The intended use of the data supplied by Aaron's Research Services is for legal, moral and ethical purposes. Aaron's Research Services does not condone, and will not knowingly be a party to, any illegal, immoral, or unethical use of any data disseminated by Aaron's Research Services.
2) The data supplied by Aaron's Research Services is intended for informational purposes only, and is for the personal use of the requester. The data may not be given or sold or otherwise divulged to third parties and cannot be used as exhibits or as evidence in any legal proceeding without the express consent of Aaron's Research Services.

Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Agreement
I intend to use the information ONLY for:

1. A commonly recognized business use whereby the business for which I seek the information has a pre-existing business relationship with the subject (individual) of the inquiry; OR
2. A use which will clearly cause no emotional or physical harm to a reasonable person who is a subject of the inquiry; OR
3. A use that is relevant to the subject matter of a documented civil or criminal action; OR
4. A legitimate business purpose in the ordinary course of business.

Further, I will not, either personally or through my company, employer or anyone else, use this information for credit granting, credit monitoring, account review, insurance underwriting, employment or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681 et seq, ("FCRA"), Federal Trade Commission interpretations of the FCRA, and similar state statutes.

Guarantee:

a) Aaron's Research Services guarantees that any information reported is the most current, most complete, and most accurate that can be legally obtained per the search option you chose. (See our Double Money Back Guarantee.)
b) Aaron's Research Services guarantees that the data disseminated is the complete data as found, with the exception of the deletion or omission of redundant and/or unrelated entries for the purpose of making the reporting of the data more concise and/or more pertinent to a specific request.

Warranty:

Aaron's Research Services reports the most current, complete, and accurate data available. However, some data is obtained through 3rd parties not affiliated with and not controlled by Aaron's Research Services. Therefore, Aaron's Research Services cannot offer any warranty, expressed or implied, concerning that data.

Liability:

1) Because Aaron's Research Services has no control over the content of the various databases It accesses, or the actions of third parties providing information, Aaron's Research Services is released of all liability to any party for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from or as a result of any use of or reliance upon any information disseminated, sold, or displayed by Aaron's Research Services, all inclusive as permitted by law.
2) Aaron's Research Services takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any invasion of privacy claims as Aaron's Research Services does not use, divulge, or attempt to access any confidential information concerning the parties involved in any search.
3) Aaron's Research Services provides data exactly as it is found. It is the sole responsibility of the end user to obtain verification of any and all information reported.

Statement of Performance:

Aaron's Research Services reserves the right to conduct any investigation, database search or performance of service at It's discretion and by any means It deems appropriate to obtain the data or information the client specifically requests or which is specified or implied as obtainable in the "description" of any selected investigation or search option - and, especially in utilizing any data or information supplied by the Client in any field, section or part of the "Request Form" submitted as a request for services, in the performance of such investigation or search. Further, it is assumed that the information sought by the client is that same information that is stated in the "description" of such selected investigation or search option as being obtainable. However, the foregoing does not in any way guarantee that any particular information will be found in any particular search; rather, only that such information as is stated in the "description" of such selected investigation or search option as being obtainable will be diligently sought.

Refund Policy:

Refunds are given in the following instances:
1) If a database search listed as an option at our website results in no record found, there will be a full refund of the cost of the search. This does not apply to Background checks or special requests for information retrieval not listed as an option at our website.
2) If a client includes specific, known, data or information, and the search results in a record or records found, but no data, other than that which was included by the client is contained in the record or records, there will be a 50% refund of the cost of the search. EXAMPLE: Client specifies the last known address of the Subject, and the search finds a record or records, but the only address contained in the record or records exactly matches that specified by the client, and the search finds no other potentially useful information contained in the record, there will be a 50% refund of the cost of the search.

Refunds are not given in the following instances:
{It should be noted here that we spend time, money and effort performing every search, regardless of whether your Subject's records contain the data you are looking for. Some searches are very expensive and time consuming. For this reason, we cannot give refunds in the following instances.}

1) For database searches that result in records found matching the subject identifiers specified as pertains to the search option chosen; for searches or investigative research other than database searches; nor, for Background and/or Assets Searches, or Special Request searches not included in the list of search options posted at our website.
2) For a Social Security Number Trace that results in records found. EXCEPTION: If the client provides an INVALID Social Security Number, there will be a $25 charge for the search.
3) If potentially useful information is found by using the specified search criteria (except as previously stated). EXAMPLE 1: Client requests a Name and Date of Birth Search and the results of that search include several records matching the specified search criteria, with no clear indication of which record might be of the client's Subject. EXAMPLE 2: Client requests an Address Update Search and the results of the search include the address that was specified as search criteria, and other potentially useful data such as address history, but no more recent address than that which was specified as search criteria. (Refer to the Warranty Section). 

Note: The Minimum Fee of $25 is charged in the following instances:

1) For database searches wherein it is discovered that the subject is deceased and no data other than information that states or affirms that fact can be retrieved.
2) For SSN Traces or Background Searches wherein records are found using the SSN submitted by the client, but the records are not of the intended subject - e.g. the SSN submission by the Client is erroneous.

Terms of Cancellation:

Cancellation of an order can be done only under the following terms:
{It should be noted that we usually begin work on your order immediately upon receipt. Therefore, if you need to cancel your order, please understand that within a couple of hours we have probably already spent time and money filling your order. Therefore, it is only fair that we should be compensated the minimum research fee of $25 if you cancel your order.}

1) Cancellation can be confirmed only if your order is a database search. Services involving conventional investigation, such as Employer Searches, Forwarding Address and PO Box Searches, etc., are very labor intensive and expensive to perform, and therefore cannot be cancelled.
2) A cancellation request for a database search must be submitted within 2 hours of the time the order was submitted.
3) A cancellation request is not confirmed until we send a reply to your cancellation request confirming the cancellation.

Privacy Issues:

Concerning the Subject of the search:
1) Aaron's Research Services strives to observe all privacy laws of the United State of America. The data disseminated by Aaron's Research Services is obtained from databases and records accessible by legal means. Aaron's Research Services takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any breach of privacy claims pertaining to the dissemination of personal data obtained through sources and means considered legal per the current, pertinent statutes of the United States of America.
2) As a matter of company policy, Aaron's Research Services will not knowingly distribute any data concerning any person under the age of 18.
3) Aaron's Research Services does not release, sell, disseminate or divulge ANY information concerning the subjects of any search or investigation to anyone outside of our company, except and unless under subpoena to do so as required by law.

Concerning the Client (Person requesting our services.):
Aaron's Research Services does not release, sell, disseminate or divulge ANY information concerning our clients to anyone outside of our company, except and unless under subpoena to do so as required by law.

Pricing, Payment and Availability:

The price shown in the description of the search option or service on the Prices page and on the Request for Services Form is the entire price that will be charged for the search or service ordered. (The price posted is the price charged. There are no hidden or additional charges.)

Valid means of payment must be presented upon placement of the order, and may be in the form of credit card, personal or company check, or money order. If the terms of this contract are met, and Aaron's Research Services provides the requested service or services per the respective advertisement or description of such requested service or services, then payment must be made. Returned checks and disputed, unwarranted credit card chargebacks will be charged $25.00 service fee in addition to the posted fee for the requested service or services. If Civil Suit is required to recover payment, such suit may be filed in the jurisdiction of Aaron's Research Service's choice.

Aaron's Research Services reserves the right to change, modify, alter, amend, delete, enhance or diminish any search option or service or description of any search option or service offered at It's website, at any time, without prior notification.

Aaron's Research Services reserves the right to deny or restrict service to anyone, at It's sole discretion.

Delivery of Reports:

Available means of delivery of reports are one only of either Fax, Email or Postal Mail. The delivery fax number, email address or postal address shall be specified by the client/customer upon placement of the request for services. The accuracy and/or accessibility of such delivery fax number, email address or postal address is the responsibility of the client/customer. One verified attempt to deliver by the specified means to the specified fax number, email address or postal address shall constitute completion of the contract for services. (Plain English: We will attempt to deliver your report to the fax number, email address or postal address you specify. Upon such attempt, we have completed your order. There shall be no cancellation or refund due because of an error or unavailability in the fax number, email address or postal address you provided.)
